APPROACH
Role: Installation Design • Art Direction
Commissioned by Perrier-Jouët for an exclusive brand event, the project involved the design and fabrication of a large-scale entrance installation developed as a spatial interpretation of the maison’s floral identity.
Perrier-Jouët's botanical illustrations formed the starting point for the installation, providing a visual language that could be developed into three dimensions.
Each botanical element was cut, layered and assembled by hand, allowing familiar graphic forms to become sculptural. The typography was constructed as part of the installation, giving it the same physical presence as every other element. A restrained palette of white and green kept the installation closely aligned with Perrier-Jouët's visual identity while allowing scale and texture to carry the experience.
Every part of the installation was developed as a single environment, where graphics, typography and structure worked together.
