Created for a private event hosted by Otto de Jager, this immersive installation comprised a series of life-sized equine torsos sculpted directly into the architecture of the space.

The installation introduced a series of sculptural horse heads that appeared to emerge directly from the walls.

Each piece was built by hand from torn paper. The irregular edges remained visible at close range, yet gradually resolved into recognisable form as the viewer stepped back.

Keeping the sculptures white allowed projected light to reveal details that remained hidden during the day. Texture, shadow and relief became active parts of the projection, allowing the imagery to settle naturally into the surface of each sculpture.

The installation existed in two states. Before the event, it remained quiet, almost disappearing into the architecture. As the projections began, the sculptures gradually shifted, making it increasingly difficult to distinguish where the physical object ended and light began.
