Role: Prop Design

Created for Nataniël's Cathedral campaign rollout, the project involved the design and fabrication of sculptural paper props developed for promotional imagery associated with the live production.

The cathedral cuff drew from Gothic architecture and ecclesiastical dress, translating into a worn architectural form. It introduced ideas of ceremony, concealment, authority, and devotion, locating the body within a broader system of meaning. The mechanical heart approached symbolism from another direction. Anatomical forms were combined with gears, pipes, and gargoyle motifs, invoking centuries of fascination with the relationship between humanity and its own inventions.

Paper, often associated with fragility, was used to construct forms traditionally defined by permanence and monumentality. The scale and silhouette became essential, allowing the pieces to hold their presence across portraiture, print, and large-format campaign applications.

These objects extended the campaign's symbolic vocabulary, allowing themes of devotion, identity, spectacle, and human artifice to assume material form.
