APPROACH

Role: Creative Direction • Installation & Prop Design

Created for Koco Bino's exhibition, Floral Coral was developed as an immersive paper installation accompanying a collection of women's and girls' occasion wear.

The installation grew from an earlier body of work. Floral forms originally constructed in white became the foundation for a new environment, demonstrating how existing structures can take on an entirely different character through carefully considered changes.

Flowers and coral share a surprising visual language. Branching forms, clustered growth and intricate surfaces allowed one to transition naturally into the other, creating an installation that felt both botanical and marine.

New colour, additional sculptural elements and custom fascinators reshaped the atmosphere while preserving the original construction beneath it.

The project explored how a single body of work can continue to evolve through reinterpretation.
