APPROACH
Role: Creative Direction • Art Direction • Styling
Developed as an editorial series with model Cole Robert, the project centred on constructing a fashion narrative through attitude rather than excess.
Working within a single apartment placed greater emphasis on judgement than production. With no changing locations or elaborate set pieces, each image relied on composition, styling, and performance to create variety across the series.
Cole required very little direction. Small adjustments in posture, framing and expression were enough to shift the mood from one image to the next.
Styling introduced the strongest visual contrast across the series. Long red opera gloves brought an unexpected tension to an otherwise restrained palette, changing the character of the images without overwhelming them.
The series demonstrates how careful editing and measured decisions can create visual variety without relying on excess.
