APPROACH

Role: Creative Direction • Installation Design

Large-scale sculptural installation created for a Clarins brand event, developed as a single botanical focal point based on the Sea Lily.

The installation was developed as a single oversized floral sculpture for Clarins, allowing one form to carry the entire space through scale alone.

Standing more than six feet high, the flower retained the delicacy of its botanical reference while taking on the presence of an architectural object.

The relationship between stem and bloom became central to its construction. The connection was engineered to appear improbably slender, creating a quiet tension between what the eye expected and what the structure was capable of supporting.

Translucent cream and opaque white papers introduced subtle changes in depth and luminosity as the lighting shifted throughout the space. The stem was hand-perforated to soften the surface and retain evidence of its construction at close range.
