Developed for Bella Vita magazine's editorial Among Us, the series constructed a speculative visual world.
The editorial was built around the idea of familiarity becoming slightly unfamiliar. Styling, materials and casting were brought together to produce figures that felt recognisably human while resisting easy categorisation.
Reflective surfaces, metallic textures and reduced colour shifted attention away from decoration and towards silhouette, surface and form. Rather than describing a future, the imagery remained suspended somewhere between fashion, portraiture and constructed fiction.
Every element was selected to support that uncertainty. The shaved head altered immediate recognition, sculptural garments reshaped the body, and the installation imagery extended the editorial beyond the page, allowing the work to exist simultaneously as photography and public intervention.
The series remained intentionally unresolved, leaving space for the viewer to decide whether these figures belonged to the world around them or one that had quietly arrived alongside it.
